The customer paid with a credit card so the restaurant had to make sure the tip was valid before cashing it out. The franchise owner handed Kienow $6,300 -- the tip after taxes.

According to the Hutchinson News, Cindy Kienow works as a waitress at the Applebee's Bar and Grill located in Hutchinson, Kansas and identifies her customer as a man in his mid-40s.
