City Officials are contemplating whether the home Lee Harvey Oswald stored his rifle before shooting John F. Kennedy should become a museum.

Current owner Kim Short said she would not object to a plaque on the front of the home identifying it's significance but she is not willing to sell. Officials are also juggling the idea of a plaque as well.

The home was owned by Oswald's wife, Marina. He stored the rifle there in the days leading up to the shooting and picked it up the night before. She also had helped Oswald get a job at the Texas School Book Depository where the fatal shots were fired.

Short and her family did not know the significance of the home when they bought it. They even said they wondered why people drove very slowly past their home and even took pictures.
