Pierre-Louis Colin, a speechwriter for the French foreign minister has written a new tourist guide on where best to ogle 'les parisiennes' or Frenchwomen. The 190-page book Guide des jolies femmes de Paris, which was released last month, lists the best places to ogle gorgeous women in the city. Colin has singled out bars, parks, metro trains and times of day to observe women in Paris.

A check linked to the "Curse of the Bambino" goes on sale here Tuesday. Signed by Jacob Ruppert in 1922, the check for $50,000 helped secure the trade of Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees from the Boston Red Sox in 1919. That sale is said to have begun the "Curse of the Bambino. "

Amid Earth Day celebration and despite a memo from county officials reminding employees to save on energy, the Bronx County Hall of Justice was brightly lit at the wee hours of the morning. The New York Daily News published photos and ran a story on the brightly lit public building as proof of the apparent lack of environmental consciousness among its occupants and users.

While other Canadian cities are solving major transport related problems like the threat of a strike in Toronto and the use of Tasers in Vancouver, Parliament Hill is setting a first in Canadian transport by introducing its first batch of female train and bus operators. Ontario now has two women drivers, Margaret Bicknell and Margaret Lafrance. OC Transport wants to add more by launching a recruitment campaign to attract more females and minorities to the company. But the transport firm has more luck getting visible minority applicants than women drivers, admitted Alain Mercier, director of transit services of the City of Ottawa.

A 39-year-old homosexual threatened to sue medical staffs at a government hospital in the south of Manila, capital city,over a YouTube video clip of his rectal surgery, officials said Thursday. The YouTube video clip showed the medical staff laughing while removing the blue canister stuck from the patient's rectum during sexual intercourse, at the Vicente Sotto Medical Memorial Center (VSMMC) in Cebu City, south of the Philippines on January 3.
