Bill Gates announces his decision to give back to the school responsible for his bank-breaking success in the computer business. Lakeside School in Seattle is receiving $40 million the Microsoft founder who left the school in 1973. The money is intended to fund scholarships to help underprivileged children attend the private school.

Smart Agent 86 has passed away after a battle with lymphoma. Don Adams who is best remembered for his role as Maxwell Smart on the 1960s hit TV show "Get Smart", was 82. Adams won three Emmy's for his role on the comedy, but later admitted in interviews he didn't like everything about the show.

Despite having been retired from prime time television for one year now and on a current cycle of cable channel syndication, everybody's favorite former 'Friends' have managed to make the news once again. In a recent poll of top television kisses conducted by TV Guide, Ross and Rachel's first kiss on 'Friends' managed to beat the likes of Richard Chamberlain's romantic encounter with Rachel Ward in 'The Thorn Birds' and Sam and Diane's smooch in the 'Cheers' season finale.

In a bid to get rid of the sleazy side of Sao Paulo, Mayor Jose Serra decides to shut down two high-class brothels after they put up sexually explicit advertisements on 30 billboards across South America's largest city. Both brothels posted ads to attract racers and pit crews in Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix. Serra wants the billboards to be covered with blank white sheets.
