The British Medical Association (BMA) says in a report on Monday that the ties and white coats worn by doctors may spread deadly superbugs in hospitals. The BMA says because the ties are rarely washed, they are a potential haven for disease.

Vice President Dick Cheney isn't the only person who had a "hunting malfunction" this weekend. In Michigan, a man was shot and injured when his hunting partner mistook his elbow for a squirrel, authorities said. Michigan State Police said George Arthur Sikkenga of Muskegon, Michigan was wounded Sunday morning in Golden Township, in Michigan's west-central Lower Peninsula. Sikkenga was wearing camouflage clothing except for an orange hat, which he had covered with a hood after sitting down behind a tree, The Muskegon Chronicle reported.

New Zealand filmmaker Lee Tamahori, who directed the James Bond movie "Die Another Day," has been arrested in a Hollywood prostitution sting while dressed in drag, AFP reports. According to a criminal complaint filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Tamahori, 55, was arrested on January 8 when he allegedly sought sex with an undercover policeman while clad in women's clothes.
