Thieves stealing mud that contains traces of gold, silver and platinum are overrunning Serbia's once mighty Bor mining and smelting complex, a Belgrade newspaper reports. The Washington Post reports a former Army National Guard reservist is sentenced to eight years in prison after he admits to stealing nearly 1,000 suitcases from Washington-area airports. The report indicates Derrick Kysar was assigned to guard Reagan National Airport following the Sept. 11 terrorist attack.
