European Union officials in Brussels are to impose a ban on 'Ladies' Night' in European night clubs, believing goods and services within the EU should be offered to both sexes equally. This means European ladies will no longer be able to enjoy free alcoholic drinks or admissions to night clubs and pubs throughout the EU.

A female mummy with religious and magical tattoos of spiders and snakes on her arms has been found in Peru. The United State National Geographic Society reported recently that it is the first female Moche leader ever discovered. Moche culture thrived in the area between AD 1 and AD 700. The mummy was dated about AD 450.

A Californian city owes big bucks to a strip club after trying to change local zoning laws in an effort to shut it down for good. The city of San Bernardino owes the all-nude lounge, the Flesh Club, $1. 4 million after a court ruled that the zoning ordinance the city used to prohibit nude dancing at the club from 1995 to 1999 was unconstitutional.

A 90-year-old private women's club is so desperate for money and new membership that they've decided to let in a man. The Daytona Woman's Club had a membership of over 1,400 in the 1950s, but, due to aging of its members and lifestyle changes, now has only 307 members. According to club president Barbara Markham, the average age among members is 70.
