Cheerleaders Suspended For Panty Stunt

Six cheerleaders of a college football team have been suspended from school after expressing their message to fans by exposing their panties during a game. The school's vice Principal Ken Goeken personally issued the order suspending the girls for two days for deliberately disobeying their coach and going ahead with their 'special number especially designed for the last day of the football season.

Sheila Drummond, who lost her eyesight 26 years ago due to diabetes, achieved the remarkable turning point in her career on Sunday, recording an ace on the 144-yard, par-3 fourth hole at Mahoning Valley Country Club.

Tri Of Golfers Play 110 Holes In One Day

Accepting the challenge of a friend to pot 108 holes in the game of golf, Beatrice High School golf coach Dick Stuart, middle school teacher Ben Essam and golf pro Joel Brueggemann made a record of sorts by playing 110 holes, a bit more than the original goal. When their friend Jim Edwards said it was impossible to play six rounds of golf in one day, the trio decided to start at 5:45 a. m. and finished two more than six rounds of 18 holes at 9:15 p. m. The first few holes were literally played in the morning fog.

Australian Craftsman Builds $1.23 Mln Carriage As Gift To Britain's Queen

Britain's Queen Elizabeth is to receive a new royal carriage as a gift from an Australian monarchist. Jim Frecklington, who lives in Sydney, has spent years and re-mortgaged his home to build the new State Coach Britannia. The carriage - which cost an estimated $1. 23 million to build with some of the costs being covered by the Australian government - will be flown into Britain and given as a gift to the queen.
