Iran has woven the world's largest carpet which is the size of a soccer field, the AFP reported on Tuesday. The AFP reported that the wool carpet measures 5,626 square meters (60,546 square feet). The United Arab Emirates ordered it for $5. 8 million to be used in a mosque in its capital Abu Dhabi named after UAE founder and president Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahayan.

Three-year-old Riggs, a bulldog from Prairie City, Iowa won the "Beautiful Bulldog" contest Monday, beating 50 odd dogs in a contest including the likes of Sir Grizwald Snorzalot, Napoleon Underbite and Crazy Legs Da Moose. What does it take to win a bulldog "beauty contest?" Riggs' owners say it was his personality that got him the top spot. The contest is held annually to draw attention to the Drake Relays, one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious track and field events.

Located in Shibuya's Hachiko square in Tokyo, Japan, it is the first human vending machine ever made. Instead of the machine dispensing the products there is a human operator that gives the products.

New York City Hall will soon release a branded official city condom to encourage its use. Currently, the city distributes 1. 5 million free condoms monthly in ordinary wrappers. Plans are in place to implement a distinctive package design for the city's official condom, be it a subway themed one with the lines shown in different colors.

The home-made, washable and breathable nappies come in all sort of colors and prints like bows and stripes, Taranaki Daily News reports.
