A toddler who was suspected of suffering from chronic asthma was found to have a metal screw in his lungs, as his condition became life threatening. For weeks, the 19-month-old boy, from Bonn, Germany, was reportedly having severe trouble breathing.

According to a Romanian newspaper, a local second division soccer club has sold one of its players for a lump of meat. The transaction was made when UT Arad sold defender Marius Cioara to fourth division side Regal Horia for almost thirty pounds of meat.

Three painters are rescued from a high-rise condominium after they are left dangling. Local media reports fire rescue came to the aid of one man left dangling by his safety harness, and another man was straddling the building's ledge after the scaffolding they were standing on broke. A third man was rescued using a construction bucket.
