A 23-year-old man from New Delhi who was admitted to an Indian hospital after a five-feet-long iron rod went through his chest has survived the accident. Calling it the "rarest of the rare surgeries," doctors of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) saved the life of a young executive, Supratim Dutta, whose chest, lungs, stomach and liver were pierced by an iron bar.

At least 5,000 residents were evacuated here after a British World War II bomb was found Tuesday afternoon at a construction site west of the capital city. Bomb experts said the bomb was found in a garden at a house during construction in western Wilmersdorf district.

An international cover model fell to her death from her nine-story apartment Saturday. Ruslana Korshunova, 20, landed on the street of Manhattan's busy financial district at 2:30 pm. Authorities are calling her death a suicide, as reportedly there was no sign of struggle inside her apartment.

Italian architect David Fisher said Tuesday he plans to build a third rotating tower in New York. The first two under construction would soon rise in Dubai and Moscow. Fisher disclosed he was inspired to build one while atop a friend's apartment in Manhattan as he imagined a structure which would permit New Yorkers and their visitors a view of the East River and the Hudson River.

The most exclusive and expensive penthouse in Dubai will soon be sold for more than $30 million. Al Nakheel Properties and the Trump Organization announced Monday that one of the two exclusive penthouses in Trump International Hotel & Tower under construction here will be breaking property records by selling for more than $30 million.
