New Condominium In Texas Features Country's First Ever Dog Toilet

People who own a pet and plan to live in the upcoming luxurious 55-story condominium at Second Street and Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas, will have a complete floor dedicated to a dog park for walks and pet toilets. According to Scott Ziegler, the architect from a firm involved in the construction of The Austonian - the condominium; this would be the first dog toilets ever in the country.

Gator Causes Traffic Jam On San Antonio Freeway

Sirens, rubber traffic cones and even a lullaby - nothing could move an eight-foot alligator off the San Antonio's busy Loop 410 that sits on city's South Side. The reptile that apparently came from Mitchell Lake, just south of Loop 410, wandered onto the road Sunday morning causing a major gridlock on the highway for almost an hour. Officer Albert Silva, who was the first to arrive at the scene of the traffic backup, said, "I don't remember any of this in the academy. As far as I know, there's no procedure on this other than: 'Don't get bit. '"

Alleged Purse Snatcher Caught Hiding In Portable Potty

"Port-A-Potty is not a good place to hide," says police Chief James Kudlak after a 21-year-old purse snatching suspect was caught hiding inside one. Johnny Snodgrass of New Martinsville was arrested Monday afternoon following a clue that took the officers to a construction site where Snodgrass was working. Authorities reportedly became suspicious of Snodgrass after his appearance matched with that of a man who was caught on the surveillance camera of a store from where the purse of an old lady was stolen, the Associated Press reports.

Rats At Restaurant Get National Attention In New York City

A few months after enduring an E. coli outbreak, about a dozen rats were seen having a good time Friday in a locked KFC/Taco Bell restaurant in New York City. The rat infestation was brought to public eye after a TV crew captured shots of rats through a window of the Greenwich Village building. Video footage of the rats was seen around the world, broadcast on TV stations and the Internet.

Skeletons Of Embracing Neolithic Couple To Be Kept Together

The skeletons of two prehistoric humans found buried locked in an embrace last week will continue to keep the heart-warming pose this Valentine's day. Archaeologists in Italy, who unearthed the rare Neolithic era burial, are planning to scoop out the entire section of the earth to preserve the integrity of the pose. "We will work to keep them together," Elena Menotti, the archaeologist who led the dig told the AP. "Removing the turf in one piece will preserve the position and allow us to collect more data on the burial. ''
