A local convenience store was hit by two robberies in the same night, with the same clerk on duty during both incidents.
Tommy Gutierrez behind the counter, was victimized twice when separate robbers barged into the Shell Station on Monroe NW between 9:45 p.m. and midnight Sunday.
"I was like, 'Oh, God, it can't be happening again," WZZM-TV quoted Gutierrez, who said that on both occasions, he just gave the robbers whatever they demanded.
Gutierrez was especially stumped by the second robbery, as according to him "the store just got robbed 2 hours ago."
When asked, Gutierrez said that he had no plans of quitting his job.
"I've got to pay the bills, feed my kids, take care of myself and my wife," he said. "That's what keeps me going."
"You think in your head you want to do this and that," Gutierrez said. "But when the time comes you can do nothing. Just give them what they want and let them go on their way."
The Canadian Press said that there was still no word on how much money the robbers made off with.
