Aside from several Jaguars, an Audi and a Range Rover that run on used cooking oil-based biodiesel, an Aston Martin fueled by bioethanol from wine is the latest environmentally friendly car of Britain's Prince Charles. The luxury car given by Queen Elizabeth as a birthday present when the prince turned 21 has been converted to run on pure bioethanol supplied by Green Fuels Limited. The biofuel is made from excess local vintage produced by English wine makers. The wine comes from a vineyard close to Prince Charles' Highgrove Estate, a spokesman of Green Fuels told CNN. com.

A housewife was convicted of attempted murder after she tried to kill her husband by mixing antifreeze into their wedding anniversary dinner. The court of Stafford Crown found Kate Knight, 28, guilty of attempted murder after she laced her husband's curry and red wine with antifreeze back in 2005. Lee's ingestion of the tainted food and drink caused him to suffer from brain damage, and irreversible kidney failure.

Almost half of young Brits don't know how to boil an egg. The survey, conducted by British Egg Information Service to mark the Farmhouse Breakfast Week, revealed that only 51 percent of 18 to 24-year-olds are aware that it only takes three minutes to soft-boil an egg.

A 53-year old housewife used her underwear to put out a fire that threatened the family home. Jenny Marsey said her son and nephew grabbed her size 18 - 20 cotton lingerie from a pile of washing, doused them in water, and threw them over the fire which broke out while they were trying to fry some bread.

A woman who found a severed mouse head in a can of green beans is not biting the offer from an Arkansas company for USD100 provided she pledges not to take legal action. While the letter from Allens Inc. of Siloam Springs, Ark. , describes the offer as a "gesture of goodwill," Marianne Watson said isn't interested.
