A local policeman was able to get the car engine of a stranded woman started by using - her dog.
Kevin Gorman was patrolling the streets of Addlestone in Surrey when he came upon Juliette Piesley who was then having a hard time starting her car.
Piesley, 39, told Gorman she had changed the battery in her electronic key fob but was then unable to start her car.
Upon inspection, Gorman found the immobilizer chip was missing.
When Piesley told him her dog George had eaten something, the cop immediately realized it was the chip. He then put the dog in the front seat and started the car with the key.
"I was glad to get the car started for the member," Gorman said. "They will now have to take George with them in the car until things take their natural course. It is the first time that I have had to get a dog to help me to start a car."
