The Macomb County, Michigan coroner ruled Friday that a 42-year-old woman found dead last month in her blood-covered condo without any sign of injuries to her body died of drinking too much water.

The coroner reportedly found that Andrea Jean Bean had died of low sodium levels from a medical condition that caused her to drink large quantities of water, which in turn triggered an electrolyte imbalance in her body that disrupted her heart's rhythm, resulting in a seizure and eventually death.

There was no sign of trauma on Bean's body when she was found dead in her condo last month. But police reportedly found significant amounts of blood smeared around the bedroom, kitchen and hallway.

Authorities will now test the blood to see if any of it was Bean's, according to reports.

Bean was the mother of three children and had been hospitalized for mental illness at least 17 times, she had been released from a mental institution a few weeks before her death.
