Imagine waiting in line for a Sony camcorder and bringing it home only to find a jar of pasta sauce in the box.

This is what a St. Louis couple claimed happened to them after purchasing what they thought was a camcorder at a Best Buy store outside of St. Louis.

Jim Rittenberg paid $1,600 for the camcorder. But he said when he opened the box he found a telephone cord, an outlet cover and a jar of Classico pasta sauce where the devise should have been.

So far, the couple said they still have not received a camcorder but a Best Buy official said they are working to resolve the issue. Police are currently investigating the case.
