A couple from Hell won $115,001 in lottery in the Fantasy 5 drawing held Wednesday, which is Halloween.
John and Sue Wilson, who live in the unincorporated town 45 miles west of Detroit, received the windfall from the Michigan Lottery.
It was only when they claimed their winnings two days later that they realized the prize drawing had been held on Halloween.
Earth Times reports Sue Wilson telling Livingston Daily Press & Argus: "How cool is that? We live in Hell and won it on Halloween."
Her husband, an electrician, added: "It's not $200 million or anything -- it's not going to change our life, but it's ... something to say, 'OK, we are going to have a good Christmas.'"
The Wilsons intend to spend the money on household bills, home projects, purchasing a Nintendo Wii video game console for their 13-year-old son and perhaps visiting relatives in Georgia.
