A Montana couple had a "moving" wedding on Sunday at Big Sky resort, Lone Mountain, where the bridegroom skied and the bride snowboarded while a clergyman wore a camera helmet in the presence of about 30 guests on the slope to watch.

Matt Dodd, a ski instructor, and his guests were on skis as he wore a black ski jacket and pants as his "wedding dress." The bride, Ashley Hegseth, who is a snowboard instructor, wore a white ski suit plus a skirt, including a veil. All her guests were on snowboard.

According to AP reports, the Rev. Mike Boucher, who is also a ski instructor said, "Matt has some farfetched ideas that always sound a bit foolish at first to me, but the way he brings these together ... they always seem to work out in the end." He skied backward to face the crowd and had a ski-mounted lectern that housed a public-address system.

The skiing couple arrived at a mutual decision to tie the knot on a ski slope after a long debate about two weeks ago as Hegseth said. "I don't want it to be a joke necessarily, but at the same time neither of us have been the kind of people to take things too seriously."

The "moving" wedding was followed by a resort reception and the couple is also planning a traditional ceremony for July in California.
