An Alaska woman who died earlier this month won reelection to a rural school board when her opponent called "heads" on a coin toss that landed on "tails" last week. The coin toss broke the electoral tie between the two candidates, with the deceased woman as the victor, Alaska officials report. Katherine Dunton died of cancer on October 3, the day of the local election. She and her opponent, Dona Highstone ran neck and neck and the election tie had to be broken by a democratic coin toss.

Dropping an earlier plan to censor the photo, the subway walls in Tokyo will now feature a nude and pregnant Britney Spears. The advertisement space at the posh Omotesando station next week will be rented by HB Japan Inc. , publisher of the Japanese edition of Harper's Bazaar. They aim to promote their October issue with Spears posing naked on the cover. The AP reports that the advertisement that will appear in Tokyo is the same that was used in the August issue of the magazine's U. S. edition. It shows the 24 year old Spears baring her belly but she covers her breasts with her hands.

New York's Museum of Sex is featuring a bust of Sen. Hillary Clinton that reveals "her chest a little bit. " Sculptor Daniel Edwards hopes the "Presidential Bust" will lead to conversations about sex, politics and celebrity. The sculpture shows wrinkles around Clinton's eyes, as well as a floral pattern across her breasts. Edwards says he wants to show the senator "as a woman -- not a covered up person, but as a woman. "
