In the last few days Indianapolis thieves have made off with dozens of hefty manhole covers and sewer grates. The missing manhole covers have left gaping holes throughout streets across the city.

A $20 bill mysteriously printed on top of an ordinary fruit sticker sold Friday for $25,300, an auction company official said. The flawed note bears a red, green and yellow Del Monte sticker next to Andrew Jackson's portrait. The buyer at the Orlando, Fla. , auction did not want to be identified. The 1996 bill originated at a U. S. Treasury Department printing facility in Fort Worth, Texas, but how the fruit tag found its way onto the paper of the greenback is unknown.

A Montgomery County judge rules that the act of mooning is not illegal in Maryland, clearing a man accused of indecent exposure after showing his buttocks to a neighbor during an argument. Judge John W. Debelius III says the defendant, 44-year-old Raymond Hugh McNealy, committed a "disgusting" and "demeaning" act when he allegedly exposed himself to his neighbor and her 8-year-old daughter June 7.

The man suing Home Depot for a prank plans to move forward with his case after passing a polygraph test about the incident. Bob Dougherty, 57, alleges he got stuck to a toilet seat in the restroom at Home Depot's Louisville store. He said he was in a hurry to use the bathroom and sat down after finding there were no paper seat covers left. He said his legs and buttocks got stuck to the seat and employees ignored his pleas for help.
