Nobel Prize winning author Doris Lessing has said that the 9/11 attacks were not as bad as the reign of terror waged by the IRA on mainland Britain. The Associated Press (AP) reports Lessing, in conversation with the leading Spanish daily El Pais, as saying "September 11 was terrible, but if one goes back over the history of the IRA, what happened to the Americans wasn't that terrible. "

A series of ten-pound notes with blank print on the reverse are selling for $528 on eBay. According to a local paper, the Bank of England accidentally circulated up to 40 of the one-sided notes, although it clarifies the notes are still considered as legal tender.

Kraft Foods Philippines said imports of this one-of-a-kind triangular Swiss chocolate increased at least 12 percent in the last quarter of the year. The Philippines is the third largest market for Toblerone in the Asia Pacific Region, next only to Australia and China.

Sonya Thomas is the 100-pound woman from Alexandria, Virginia that consumed 11. 3 pounds of lobster meat in 12 minutes in 2005 in Kennebunk.

For the past six years, the owners of a 40-year-old ocean-view home in the upscale Monarch Beach area in California are inundated by bundles of letters, crates of wine, cheese platters, and other raw food materials. The crazy stuff began arriving at their residence address six years ago when the five-star hotel opened at 1 Monarch Beach Resort. While the home of Harold and Martha Smith is nearly 40-years-old and located at 1 Monarch Bay, it is often confused by the postal department for newly opened St. Regis Resort about 1 1/2 miles away.
