More than 50 snakes and lizards were stolen from an Australian wildlife park. A baby crocodile was also taken. Workers found that someone had taken reptiles from tanks at the Wildlife Wonderland Park in southern Victoria state Sunday morning.

Steve Weinkseldaum was arrested on Tuesday as agents from the Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals were led to his home on a tip that he was boarding wild animals. According to an AP report, agent Roy Gross said, "It appeared to be like I was walking into a rain forest" in his home, because "he had alligators stacked up. He had plants growing. It was tight to walk. "

At least 10 stingray bodies have been found on two Australian beaches since "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin was fatally injured by one of the fish, and conservationists are worried people are killing them to avenge his death. Michael Hornby, the executive director of Irwin's Wildlife Warriors conservation group told the AP, "It may be some sort of retribution, or it may be fear from certain individuals, or it just may be yet another callous act toward wildlife," adding the killing stingrays was "not what Steve was about. "

An 80-year-old woman's courage and mimicking a scene from the popular movie "Crocodile Dundee" saved her life when she single-handedly tackled a knife-wielding burglar. Reportedly Winifred Whelan from Liverpool, was threatened in her home by a man who was waving a 10-inch knife.
