A 20-year-old cross dresser was arrested for crashing his car into a lingerie shop that had earlier turned down his job application.

Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe said Jeremy Paul McIntosh was picked up by police after he deliberately drove his Geo Tracker into the Intimate Ideas lingerie store in this town 25 miles northwest of Detroit late Sunday.

Police described him as wearing "facial makeup, lipstick, blue Capri pants, red 'flip-flops,' a flowery blouse and a matching flowery women's bra" at the time of the arrest.

McIntosh was arraigned Monday after being charged with malicious destruction of property and reckless driving.

Police said damage to the store was estimated at $3,000.

The first-time offender doesn't have a lawyer. As of Tuesday, he was in jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

According to reports, McIntosh told deputies he is homeless and wanted to go to jail because he had nowhere else to go.
