In the first order by a British court of its kind, a 24-year-old man has been ordered to wear a fluorescent jacket when he ventures out at night. The man, Stephen Cooper, pleaded guilty to voyeurism in a British court after he confessed to peeking into a woman's window on the night of Jan. 11. Judge Peter Dedman of the Southend Crown Court ordered him to wear a jacket until his final sentencing in May.

Being skinny can sometimes be beneficial for jail inmates as it was for a 28-year-old man who literally squeezed through small windows on Gary City Jail cell doors by taking off his clothes. Artez Kenyetta Knox squeezed his escape out of the windows on Saturday that are just the right size for a tray of food to slide in. However, Knox, who weighs 130 pounds, was caught walking in a jail hallway by a correction officer.

In a gesture of extreme happiness after her daughter's birth, King Mohammed VI of Morocco has pardoned almost 9,000 prisoners and reduced the sentences of more than 24,000 prisoners. According to the Justice Ministry, the King, in an act of kindness, pardoned 1,365 prisoners under age 20. That included 278 foreigners and 53 women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or accompanied by their children. He also took pity on 63 sick or disabled prisoners and 167 elderly inmates.

Angela Bustillo, who was crowned Miss Catabria 2007, was debarred from the title after it was learned that she was the mother of a three-year-old boy. The incident has sparked the issue of sexism in the country since, according to Bustillo, no such limitations apply to contestants in the Mr. Cantabria contest. Bustillo, 22, said she knew the pageant's rules that bar pregnant women, or those who already have children, from taking part in the contest, but that she thought they were obsolete.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth has selected a little-known jeweler to become the next Crown Jeweler. Harry Collins is expected to take over the coveted post after the current Crown Jeweler David Thomas, who is employed by luxury jewelry company Garrard, retires later this year.
