Inmates from a prison in Cebu, the Philippines, have become instant stars after videos of their synchronized dances have received over a million views on the popular website YouTube.

The abs-cbnnews.com reported that the zombie dance performed by more than 1,000 inmates at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center to the tune of Michael Jackson's pop hit 'Thriller' has given the criminals instant celebrity.

Another popular performance of the inmates is their version of the Algorithm March popularized by a Japanese children's TV show. The video of the march generated more than 400,000 hits on YouTube.

The inmates also have videos of their other synchronized dances. The inmates dance to the tune of 'Radio Ga Ga' by the British rock group Queen, 'Dayang Dayang,' a popular Muslim hit song, and 'I Will Follow Him,' the theme song from the film 'Sister Act.'
