Jerry Morgan noticed that the front windows of his neighbor's house in Parker City was shattered, and was shocked to see blood all over the walls.

Thinking that a murder had occurred, Morgan phoned the local authorities for assistance.

Police arrived at the house, and they were surprised to find that the culprit of a reported house break-in was a scared female deer.

Marshall Rex Amburn arrived shortly after, and entered the house with Morgan. They were surprised to find themselves looking at a doe, with its head peeking out around a corner.

The Star Press reported that the deer then bolted and crashed into a bedroom wall, before running around on a rampage through the rest of the house.

The two men attempted to hold down the animal, failing miserably. They eventually opted to close all exits except one, and finally the deer ran out of the house, leaving no room untouched.

Homeowner Monte Jeffery, who according to the UPI has another house in Virginia Beach, Va., said he was struggling with the insurance of his home, as the company did not cover damages caused by deer.
