A 13-year-old teenager has reportedly discovered a 2. 93-carat diamond at the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro. Nicole Ruhter's diamond is a tea-colored broken pyramid shaped with several imperfections, but the to-be-eighth grader is happy to have found one. "I was kind of praying to God. I was saying, 'I don't care if it's worth whatever it's worth, I don't care if it's a tiny little sliver of something, I just want something,'" she told the AP of her find. "Ten minutes later, I just found it. "

Britain's Queen Elizabeth is to receive a new royal carriage as a gift from an Australian monarchist. Jim Frecklington, who lives in Sydney, has spent years and re-mortgaged his home to build the new State Coach Britannia. The carriage - which cost an estimated $1. 23 million to build with some of the costs being covered by the Australian government - will be flown into Britain and given as a gift to the queen.

Diamonds are forever and what could be better than turning the remains of a loved one into one, says a daughter who wants to keep the memories of her father. However, her mother contends and wants the cremated ashes of her husband to be traditionally buried in a cemetery. The dispute between the two women has escalated so much that now they want the court to decide what should be done, the AFP reports.

An Arkansas man has reportedly discovered a 2. 37-carat white diamond at the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro. In all, 486 diamonds have been found at the park this year. It is the world's only diamond-bearing site where visitors are allowed to search for and keep the gems they find. Gary Dunlap of Jefferson's diamond was the fourth-largest diamond. He found it on Sunday while looking near a Bois d'Arc tree on the park's 37. 5-acre search field.

Russian Customs authorities held a 51-year-old woman at an airport in Polyarny, Russia after her smelly luggage was found to contain a dead fish packed with large uncut diamonds. Officials said the woman was stopped from boarding a flight to Moscow from Polyarny because of her smelly luggage.
