Two demonstrators who carried banners protesting unjust labor practices by Walt Disney during a parade at Disneyland in Hong Kong were arrested. Hong Kong police spokeswoman Celia Tam identified the two suspects by last name, Yau and Lai, and said they had disrupted the parade and fought with park workers who tried to stop them. Their banners said "Disney exploits Chinese labor. "

A Florida company discovered sunken treasure possibly worth more than $500 million last Friday and have since been overwhelmed by public response. Everything from movie deals to claims from other countries that the booty is theirs have come at owners of Odyssey Marine Exploration, who said Friday that this discovery finally proves they are a legitimate business.

A Pasco County man, who fled the accident scene soon after his van crashed into the lawn, was recognized by the shoe that he left behind. The accident took place at 1:34 a. m. about 100 miles west of Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom when a Ford van smashed into the bathroom of a house in suburban Holiday. However, the van's driver immediately fled from their front lawn, leaving a shoe behind. Residents Sandy McCombie and her fiance Michael Toth called the Florida Highway Patrol to investigate the matter.

A 13-year-old Pennsylvania girl won $25,000 after typing "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from "Mary Poppins" on her cell phone in less time than 200 other competitors in a text-messaging competition. Morgan Pozgar typed the Disney classic's "biggest word I ever heard" in only 15 seconds, beating out the former national text-messaging champ, 21-year-old Eli Tirosh of Los Angeles. Morgan, who estimated she sends more than 8,000 text messages every month, described her phone as "pretty worn in," according to UPI.
