The entire country of China has been left in outrage after viewing a video on the Internet of a woman stomping a kitten to death, according to Chinese state media. Wang Jue, a nurse from northeast China's Heilongjiang province, said she was persuaded into performing for the bizarre video after she had suffered a divorce.

According to divorce papers, Nick Lachey is seeking spousal support from his former "Newlywed" wife Jessica Simpson, and he wants his jewelry back. Lachey, reportedly also asked for "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects," and part of Simpson's earnings from after the date of separation and other assets.

An Oklahoma university is proposing a policy that would allow officials to fire employees who get divorced. Oklahoma City television station KOCO reports Oklahoma Christian University is already getting some attention for a faculty letter stating, "Because the Christian mission of the university is most effectively fulfilled through mentoring and example, all married faculty and staff should strive to model (healthy) marriages to students. "

A fishing pier hailed as the longest pier in North Carolina, is about to become a thing of the past thanks to rising real estate prices and a divorce settlement. The Long Beach Pier is slated to be torn down sometime in February, along with its tackle shop, motel and restaurant after closing Saturday.

A 33-year old father admits to fatally poisoning his three children because he "didn't want the kids to suffer through the divorce," according to court papers. Jim Nice confessed to the murders of 6-year-old twins Justin and Spencer, and 2-year-old Raquel after he was taken into custody Wednesday.
