Burbank, IL (AHN)-A 15-year-old southwest suburban Illinois boy and his friends are wondering what they did to make a group of teens beat him, take his prosthetic leg and use it as a weapon on a friend who came to his rescue. D. J. Choate of Burbank and some friends were outside near 79th Street and Nagle Avenue when a group of teens drove past and almost hit him on Monday morning just after midnight.

Stalin-era Hawaiian-styled surf songs, mixed by a Russian DJ are taking over the airways in Eastern Europe, with also thousands of copies flying off the store shelves as well. Gulag Tunes, created by Mikhail Antipov, is a collection of Stalin-era prison songs mixed with Hawaiian surf music, with the cover album showing Stalin draped in a Hawaiian-style garland of skulls.

Despite none of her radio listeners being able to see her, a female radio presenter, known as Lady Ray, has been fired for dressing in sexy outfits while on air. The 25-year-old disc jockey is taking Radio Bremen to an industrial tribunal, according to Ananova. com

Billboard says many of the biggest hits with "Summer" in the title have peaked in the dead of winter. Billboard has come out with what it calls "the top 10 "summer" songs," which was based on chart performance on the Billboard Hot 100.

Two St. Louis hip-hop deejays are suspended after holding an on-air discussion on the best ways to fight police officers, including how to disarm them and take their radios, preventing them from calling for help. The comments came just days after the fatal shooting of police officer William McEntee in suburban St. Louis. DJ Kaos and DJ Sylli Asz, as well as officials at KATZ F-M, have since apologized.
