A Staffodshire bull terrier named Bush survived for almost for two weeks by eating a dead bird and drinking water from a fall before he was finally rescued by a military helicopter in Britain. Bush reportedly lost his way on a cliff ledge while his owner Margie Brett was on holiday in the area.
The Daily Mail said the dog survived by eating a crow and drinking from a waterfall that runs along the 100-foot cliffs in North Devon. Currently Bush is being treated by a veterinarian and will be reunited with Brett and her husband in a few days.
Upon being found, Bush was famished, extremely thin with his ribs sticking out. He was lethargic and didn't try to start a fight when the team of rescuers picked him up.
According to the vet, had the dog not been rescued that day, he would not have survived another day out there.
