Villagers at a southern Philippine community reported that a ghoul has killed their livestock. Panicked local residents at Barangay (village) Lower Manongol in Kidapawan City, southern Philippines say that a ghoul, which takes a human form by day but turns into a blood-sucking and flesh-eating monster as darkness falls, was responsible for the killing of three goats who were seen without its inner organs, including hearts and livers.

A 61-year-old man was arrested for cross-border drug trafficking after police linked him to a Jesus statue made of cocaine. Bernardino Garcia-Cordova admitted the statue was his after the woman, who was paid $80 to carry two religious statues over the Mexican border, led police to him. She told authorities she did not know the statue was made of drugs and invited them to follow her when she was to drop off the statues at a bus station. That's when they found Garcia-Cordova.

A Florida woman was arrested by police Friday after reports revealed that she stabbed her husband during a fight that centered around the subject of having hot dogs for dinner that night. The woman, 28-year old Alfreda Van Bladel from Orange County, reportedly stabber her husband Anton with a steak knife, after he snatched from her hands a plate of hot dogs she had prepared.

A dog rescued a baby joey found in the pouch of the dead mother kangaroo, and brought it back to be cared for, according to the dog's owner. The dog, a short-haired pointer cross named Rex, was out with owner Leonie Allan, when he suddenly began to get agitated.
