Ashrita Furman, a 52-year-old man from New York claims to have set yet another world record. Well known for setting as many as 54 bizarre world records, Furman is claiming another entry in the Guinness Book of World Records by doing the maximum squat thrusts in one minute. But the beauty of Furman's recent record lies in its duality. Not only did he do maximum squats, he performed the feat on the back of an elephant.

A Miami priest who served several stints in jail and has 666 tattooed on his body claims he is Jesus reincarnated. His church members, reaching numbers in the thousands, also believe he is what he says. Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda is also called "Daddy" by his followers. Although he calls himself Jesus, some say he is no more than a cult leader.

A man from Clinton Township, Michigan spent 30 years of his life and some $60,000 working on his dream, his own flying saucer. The 57-year-old Alfie Carrington, who knows nothing about computers, says he just want to replace automobile with a Jetsons-style vehicle, and not actually take his creation into outer space. Carrington told the Detroit Free Press, "Why drive when you can fly 500mph?"

According to The New York Daily News, the 1,300 pound bottle contains nearly 64 gallons of wine, enough to relieve thirst of half of Long Island. Kim Bullock, the creator of wine said, "I've gotten lots of offers for it, and I've turned down one for $100 000. "
