More than 100 students were sent home the first day of school in one Indiana school for wearing the wrong clothes. Infractions included baggy pants, low-cut shirts, tank tops, and graphic T-shirts.

Fed-up with offending attire, the principal of Morton High School decided to suspend students for one day. Minutes after the doors opened, she sent 10 percent of the 1,200 student population home. Students were also cited for cell phone use.

Principal Theresa Mayerik said this was the worst year she's seen in a long time and wanted to send a message to students. Usually, the school has about 20 dress code violations a day.

Mayerik said the infraction will be removed from students' records in 12 weeks if there are no other in-school violations.
