Due to a number of ticket-holders having a phobia of clowns, a British rock festival is changing its circus theme this year. In early September this year, the Bestival event on the Isle of Wight, off England's south coast, was to have encouraged festival-goers to dress up in curly red wigs and oversized shoes.

A British woman is suing a dating agency for being unable to find her dream man after having been set up on eight different dates. She says all the men she dated were unsuitable and did not match her expectations. Janet Forse, 49, says she was looking for a man who was rugged, educated, had a good education, and owned his own home were the type of qualifications she was looking for.

U. S. style gurus are warning that flip-flops, worn to work by more and more women, might damage women's careers. Thousands of young woman look at the casual footwear as must-have fashion accessories for the summer. An online survey held by Gap and Old Navy showed that college high schools students rated flip-flops as the number one on the list of items to wear to work.

A school board in the suburb between Seattle and Tacoma has apparently flip-flopped on the proposed ban on flip-flops. According to reports, the school board voted on Tuesday to drop the proposed ban on the grounds that it would be impossible to enforce.
