North Korea's communist government urges women in the country to sport traditional Korean clothes instead of pants. Joson Yeosung (Woman) magazine says, "Keeping alive our dress style is a very important political issue to adhere to specific national cultural traditions at a time when the U. S. imperialists are maneuvering to spread the rotten bourgeois lifestyle inside North Korea. "

Caterina Bonci is accusing Catholic Church authorities of firing her because she is too attractive to teach religion after 14 years on the job. The Church, however, says she was removed from the central Adriatic city of Fano because she is divorced. Bonci says that she has never hidden her 2000 divorce from Church authorities, dresses down when teaching and defended her right to dress how she likes in her private life, according to Reuters.

Trenise Williams and her fiance Joseph Kirsh were supposed to have the wedding of their dreams, until an uninvited guest crashed their party. Their special day was originally scheduled just hours before Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. When it came time to evacuate, Williams made sure she had one thing - her marriage license. And a week later, the couple wed, not in New Orleans, but at a shelter in Jackson, Mississippi.

The mayor of a certain Budapest district has ordered to have all female staff working in his city hall to have "perfect legs" and wear skirts no shorter than one inch above the knee. Gabor Mitynan, a well known conservative, also wants his staff to wear blazers during the summer because he thinks that most look like the are dressed like beggars or vacationers when they come into the office. He is also imposing a ban on tank tops for women, saying that most don't have fit enough bodies to pull off the look.
