A christening gown worn by Britain's Queen Elizabeth I has been discovered by chance during a clear-out of a stately home. The embroidered satin gown was found by Lady Elizabeth Ashcombe when she was emptying boxes left in a cupboard at Gloucestershire's Sudeley Castle. The royal garment was worn by Elizabeth - the daughter of Henry VIII - at her baptism at Greenwich in 1533.

A Montana couple had a "moving" wedding on Sunday at Big Sky resort, Lone Mountain, where the bridegroom skied and the bride snowboarded while a clergyman wore a camera helmet in the presence of about 30 guests on the slope to watch. Matt Dodd, a ski instructor, and his guests were on skis as he wore a black ski jacket and pants as his "wedding dress. " The bride, Ashley Hegseth, who is a snowboard instructor, wore a white ski suit plus a skirt, including a veil. All her guests were on snowboard.

Sharon Naismith, 45, was caught in June 2005 when custom officers at Melbourne airport smelled something fishy about her. The Australian woman was caught smuggling 51 live exotic Asian fish under her skirt and on Friday she was sentenced to nine months of community service. According to officials at Australian Customs, officers became suspicious of Naismith after they heard some "flipping" noises coming from her clothes. A search found a multi-pocketed apron carrying 15 plastic bags filled with water and fish under her skirt, according to AP reports.

Animal services are up in arms about a Tampa-based fast food restaurant promotional stunt asking customers to dress their cats in specially designed take out bags. The bags were invented after Checkers restaurant saw that Rap Cat, a cat puppet used in Checkers advertising commercials, was gaining popularity.

A jilted bride in Portland, Dorset, England has decided to push through with her wedding reception and used her pet dot to replace her wandering groom. Instead of wallowing in self-pity after being dumped by her groom two weeks before her wedding, Emma Knight, 41, decided she wants to party and have a good time. According to The Sun newspaper, Knight dressed her faithful dog Dennis as the bridegroom after her fiancee, Paul Fox, 37 broke off their engagement.
