Brandy the Chihuahua holds the record for being the smallest dog in the world in the 2006 Guinness book. She is 6 inches long and tips the scale at less than two pounds. Brandy's owner, Paulette Keller, takes her around in a sheepskin-lined purse and sometimes dresses her in a pink Hawaiian dress for fun.

A Romanian priest has introduced a "white dress fine" against non-virgins brides who will wear white dress on their wedding day. The 37-year-old Father Petrica Bratu from Valea Sarii, Romania said the aim of the fine is to prevent couples from living in sin. The fines will range between $20 to $118 in a nation where the average monthly salary is just $196.

It looks like women in Romania will have to contemplate the choice of wearing a 'white' or 'off-white' wedding dress on their big day as a local priest says there should be a fine instated for non-virgins brides who wear white. According to Father Petrica Bratu, 37, from Valea Sarii, Romania says he hopes the fines will stop couples from living in sin.

A Chinese transsexual has designed a dress made out of condom in an effort to promote safe sex. Twenty-five-year-old Liu Xuanyi from Nanning City, China used at least 300 condoms to make the racy outfit.

In a bid to show its support for the troops, a formalwear store in the Pittsburgh suburb of Pine Township, gave away more than 100 brand new wedding gowns to women with military experience or those who are engaged to past or present servicemen. Most of the giveaway gowns originally carried the retail price of between $500 and $2,000, but one dress was reportedly listed for $5,850. Rosalind Ramos-Alvarez, a veteran for 21 years, heard about the giveaway on the radio and showed up at the store on Friday, selecting two gowns to try on.
