Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo held a private audience with the pontiff, where he gave the present inscribed with; "The steering wheel of the Formula 1 World Champion to His Holiness Benedict XVI, the driver of Christianity. "

A truck driver was arrested Friday after police stopped him with two stolen Army vehicles complete with missile launchers. The driver was working for a company that had been hired to transport the surplus vehicles to Montreal. He was stopped traveling in the wrong direction, northwest of Toronto, about 360 miles from Montreal. The vehicles, which carried no explosives, are considered surplus and were being moved to Montreal for storage when the driver went astray. The driver was reportedly distracted and drove in the wrong direction.

A 17-year-old will likely face misdemeanor charges after allegedly losing control of his car while text messaging and hitting a bicyclist. Jim R. Price, the bicyclist, died Friday, two days after the accident.
