High school graduation requirements for some Chicago public school students are unbelievable - the school district expects blind students to pass driver's education classes. Illinois state law requires that all districts offer driver's education, but does not mandate it as a graduation requirement. Hundreds of Illinois school districts require students to pass the class, although the state only requires districts to offer it. A spokeswoman for the state Board of Education tells the Chicago Tribune, "It defies logic to require blind students to take this course. "

A new study reveals that millions of motorists in the UK have very little knowledge on dashboard symbols, despite spending an average of 360 hours behind the wheel. According to the study, women performed worse than men, with 47 percent of women and 33 percent of men struggling to identify common symbols or basic warning lights.

Need proof the OnStar system in your car really works? Ralph A. Gomez was showing off his system to his girlfriend, but the volume was so low, he could not hear the operator. If there is no response from the driver, OnStar automatically notifies police. When a police officer pulled Gomez over, he found cocaine on the car's center console. Gomez was held on $15,000 bond on charges of possession of an illegal narcotic within 1,000 feet of a church, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
