A drunk Spanish student is now in trouble after cycling for two miles the wrong way down the fast lane of an Italian motorway.
The police said the 22-year-old Spanish student was arrested by traffic cops along the Autostrada del Sole, near Parma, Italy. A breathalyzer test conducted on the student found that he was four times over the legal driving limit.
He told the police he has no recollection of how he came to the place.
A spokesman for the Italian police said, "He had a few near misses but we managed to get him off the motorway before there was a disaster."
The student is now facing charges.
