In what could be the first ever incident of its kind, Ravenna police have fined a drunk driver, not behind the wheel but behind the handlebars. Brenda Jones ran a red light and ran into a car at a busy intersection on her Roadmaster bicycle.

German police officers were left astonished on Tuesday when they stopped a 28-year-old Polish woman who was drunk, driving a stolen car without a license, on the wrong side of the road. "I don't think I've ever encountered such an accumulation of traffic offences. The normal combination would be to drink and then drive against the traffic, but people who steal a car tend to be a bit more discreet as rule," Helmuth Klinger, a police spokesman said.

Vermilion, OH (AHN)-Police have arrested a man accused of operating lawnmower while drunk. 50-year-old Dondi Bowles was arrested about 9:45 p. m. on Friday as he drove the mower on a sidewalk in a town about 40 miles west of Cleveland.

An Ohio man is under arrest for driving while intoxicated - what makes Dondi Bowles' case so unique is police say he was driving a lawnmower. Police say he drove the mower to a store about a mile from his home and was arrested on his way back. He allegedly drove the mower on a sidewalk. Police say a breath test showed Bowles' blood alcohol level at . 144 percent, over the legal limit of . 08 percent. Police say it was Bowels' third drunk driving related arrest in six months.
