A duck in China is reported to be an invaluable assistant to his newspaper vendor-owner, by manning his newsstand and at the same time help attract curious customers.
According to a report by the China Daily, the duck can be usually seen perched on a chair at the newsstand and uses its beak to collect money from customers buying newspapers or magazines.
The duck uses the same beak to hand over the paper or magazine to customers, it was said.
He also quacks loudly to wake his owner, identified only as Wang, every time he dozes off particularly when there is a customer.
Wang, a newspaper vendor in the Chinese city of Guangzhou, said he raised and trained the duck for the purpose of helping him in his business.
