The online bidding for the crypt above Marilyn Monroe's tomb at the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park cemetery reached $4.6 million on Monday. The crypt belongs to the husband of 80-year-old Elsie Poncher, who decided to transfer the remains to a nearby plot and sell the vault on eBay to generate $1.6 million as mortgage payment for her Beverly Hills home.
