A rare 18th century Worcester Porcelain Wigornia creamboat jug that was sold on eBay for just $135 was later sold by its new owner for $60,000. According to The Sun, the original owner of the jug thought the jug was worthless and incorrectly posted on the auction site the item as an Italian-made jug, circa 1900.

If you ever wonder what happens to all those items confiscated at airport security checkpoints, the answer is, they end up on eBay. Knives, scissors, furry handcuffs, a sausage grinder, even an electric palm tree are all for sale on the Internet auction site. The items have all been "voluntarily surrendered" at checkpoints in airports throughout the Northeast.

The state of Florida is stepping in to help buyers who were duped into buying worthless swampland in Florida on the online auction site, eBay. Florida officials say "paper subdivisions" in places like Osceola, Polk, Volusia and Brevard counties contain land which is unsuitable for any construction, yet with names like University Highlands and Suburban Estates, buyers are paying thousands for the lots.
