Ecuador is pulling out all the strings ahead of their World Cup clash against England - this time by reportedly having a witch doctor cast a spell on the team.

According to Ananova.com, the South Americans have hired Tzamarenda Naychapi, an Ecuadorian Indian who is known for using magic to control events.

When the England side were informed that there was a spell cast on their team, insiders say they roared with laughter.

A source said: "They'll need more than a witch doctor to stop us."

It's not the only tactic the Ecuadorian team uses before their matches. Coach Luis Suarez inspires his players before a game by telling them: "It's time to kill your cow."
