A 71-year-old El Paso woman miraculously escaped a 150 feet fall with only a few non-life threatening injuries. Helene Crosser was driving on Loop 375 in West Texas to watch the sunrise early Sunday when she lost control of her pickup truck and it hit a rock and tumbled over a 150-foot cliff.

Crosser remained stuck in her wrecked vehicle for seven hours until a motorist spotted a flash of light reflecting from afar and alerted the authorities, the AP reports.

Crosser later told the authorities that she lost control over the vehicle because the brake pedal of her pick up was jammed by her shoe that somehow got lodged beneath it. She didn't have a cell phone with her.
