An escaped chimp named Judy was so hungry that she raided a kitchen cupboard, but made sure that she cleaned the toilet and scrubbed the refrigerator before authorities caught her. The 120-pound chimpanzee escaped at the Little Rock Zoo Tuesday into a service area when a zookeeper opened a door to her sleeping quarters, without being aware of Judy's presence.

As the authorities tried to sedate Judy, she played havoc with a refrigerator where chimp snacks are stored, opened kitchen cupboards and pulled out juice and soft drinks. She also managed to have a sip or two from the soft drinks.

According to AP reports, zoo keeper Ann Rademacher says the chip must be clean freak as she also went into the bathroom, picked up a toilet brush and cleaned the toilet. The 37-year-old was reportedly a house pet before coming to the zoo in 1988, which might be the reason why she was familiar with housekeeping chores like cleaning toilets and scrubbing the refrigerator.

However, authorities managed to sedate the house-cleaning chimp after a couple of tries and she fell asleep on top of the refrigerator. She was enjoying her half a loaf of cinnamon-raisin bread at the time.

It is reported that Judy was a little groggy but fine after the sedation.
