Self-proclaimed "escape king" Nordin Ben Allal has once again escaped from the Ittre jail. His fifth jailbreak attempt, it was described as the most daring of all the prisoner's stunts. Witnesses described that during the prisoners' exercise time, a helicopter landed in the grounds of the high-security prison, with the pilot being held at gunpoint by Ben Allal's accomplices. Ben Allal jumped into the cockpit, eager to take off.

Research has revealed an increase in the number of naked sleepwalking guests at the Travelodge hotel chains, and has led to the company's management giving hotel staff extra training in handling the awkward instances. Through a "sleepwalkers guide" issued by the hotel, the staff has been advised to exercise some precautionary procedures, such as keeping a supply of towels at the reception desk, to prevent the situations from becoming more embarrassing.

Gu Gu, the panda bear who is the star attraction at the Beijing Zoo, attacked a teenager who jumped into his enclosure Monday afternoon, according to a zoo official and published reports. Eight-year-old Gu Gu and another bear were being fed when a 15 year old teenager, Li Xitao, jumped over a 1. 4m barrier surrounding the pandas' outdoor exercise area. Gu Gu attacked the teenager, ripping chunks off his legs, said a zoo official who would only give his name as Zhang.

Chubby and overweight animals in a South Korean zoo will be put on a diet after almost ten years of eating processed foods. Animals at the Seoul Grand Park zoo had been eating more than the normal amount of food intake per day so the animal management have decided to increase amount of their natural food intake and decrease the processed foods.

A 17-year-old's death is being blamed on a chemical commonly found in muscle creams. A medical examiner says the girl died from using too much of the creams which poisoned her system. Arielle Newman died in April after her body absorbed high levels of methyl salicylate, an anti-inflammatory that's found in sports creams. It can be found in brands like Icy Hot and Bengay. Poisonings and deaths from the chemical are very rare.
